Well Wishers named official charity partner
Walsall Healthcare’s own charity, Well Wishers, has been chosen as the official charity partner of the Walsall Awards 2026.
Well Wishers, the charity of Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust, has been chosen as the official charity partner of the inaugural Walsall Awards.
Well Wishers funds the things the NHS budget does not stretch to — the extras that make a difference to patients, families and staff at Walsall Manor Hospital. That has meant everything from refurbishing wards to arranging a wedding for a patient at the end of their life.
Ali Mahmood, co-founder of the Walsall Awards, said the partnership showed “the power of communities coming together to do good”.
Georgie Westley, Fundraising Manager at Well Wishers and now an Ambassador for the awards, said the borough’s generosity was what made the work possible: “Our community is fantastic – the kindest people and businesses come forward to help.”
